Our Graduates have worked on projects such as Skyscrapers, Stadiums, Shipbuilding, Aerospace, Mining, Pipeline Construction, and in Manufacturing from Rock Crushers and Motorcycles to micro welding on eyeglass frames and building up threads on radiator inlets. Welding is used almost everywhere.
With determination and hard work, you will be well rounded and can select the area of specialization that is right for you. You can go on to become a Welding Supervisor or Inspector and Welding Researchers are continually developing new welding processes and modifying existing processes and equipment to suit new applications and drive innovation in the welding industry.
Following your training and three years working in the field, you can get interprovincial (Red Seal) trade certification so you can work anywhere in Canada.
